Welcome to TutorBugs.com (“TutorBugs,” “we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, live and recorded lessons, worksheets, and all related services. By subscribing or using our platform, you agree to the terms and conditions below. Please read them carefully to understand your responsibilities and our commitment to safe learning. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
• If a student is under 18, the parent or legal guardian must provide consent and accept these Terms on the student’s behalf. • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring students comply with all rules, including camera policies, lesson conduct, and appropriate use of materials • By registering a minor, you confirm you have authority to act on their behalf and accept all liability for their actions.
• Access is granted only after payment in full for the selected subject(s). • Users are responsible for account security, including passwords. • TutorBugs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, suspected fraud, or non-payment, without notice.
• TutorBugs operates on a subscription basis, payable monthly, quarterly, or annually. • Subscription fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. • Fees continue all year, including half-term breaks, holidays, and tutor leave. • TutorBugs reserves the right to adjust subscription fees at any time; notice will be given where feasible. • Users must ensure sufficient funds; failed payments may result in suspended access. TutorBugs reserves the right to recover unpaid fees or associated costs.
• Lessons may be cancelled by TutorBugs or tutors; notice will be provided as soon as possible. • No refunds will be given for cancelled lessons, missed lessons, or student absences. • TutorBugs is not obligated to reschedule or make up missed lessons. • Half-term and short breaks are included in the subscription and non-refundable.
• All lessons are recorded and stored on the TutorBugs platform. • Cameras must remain off. If a student activates the camera, recording occurs, constituting consent to record. • TutorBugs retains all rights to recordings for internal use.
• All content, materials, worksheets, branding, and recordings are the property of TutorBugs. • Users may access content only for personal educational use. • Copying, sharing, or commercial use without consent is prohibited.
• TutorBugs does not guarantee grades, exam results, or academic progress. • TutorBugs is not responsible for any decisions made by students, parents, or third parties affecting educational outcomes.
• Tutors are independent contractors. TutorBugs cannot be held liable for their conduct, advice, or omissions. • TutorBugs is not responsible for any actions of tutors or third parties.
• TutorBugs’ liability is limited to the subscription fees paid. • TutorBugs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or opportunity.
• Users agree to indemnify and hold TutorBugs harmless from claims, damages, losses, or costs arising from use of services, breach of Terms, or actions of students.
• Users must not: 1. Access content without authorization 2. Harass tutors, staff, or other students 3. Circumvent security or recording policies • Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
• TutorBugs may modify, add, or remove content or services at its discretion. • Website-listed topics may vary; not all may be taught.
• By subscribing, users consent to receive notifications about lessons, updates, and promotions. • Service-related communications cannot be opted out of.
• Personal data is collected for lesson provision, payment, and service improvement. • All data is processed in accordance with UAE and UK laws. • Users may request access, correction, or deletion of data, but lesson recordings may be retained.
• TutorBugs is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including internet outages, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
• These Terms are governed by UAE law. • Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.
• TutorBugs retains absolute discretion in all decisions regarding subscriptions, lessons, content, tutors, and users. • Decisions are final and binding.
By using TutorBugs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
